About the wood

Heartwood varies from a pale yellowish-brown to dark chocolate brown with lighter marking. Sapwood yellowish-white, clearly demarcated. Texture medium to coarse; grain typically interlocked, sometimes irregular; slightly greasy feel; without odor.
